Thanks to the City of Creede, Mineral County, and local citizens who participated in our second annual Creek Clean Up Days on May 27and September 23, 2004.  We picked up approximately 15 dumptruck loads of garbage and debris from the Willow Creek floodplain below Creede!  Special thanks go out to Don Gant and Ginger Alexander who provided a delicious brisket lunch with all of the fixings for the participants.  See photos from the days.

Thank you to all of those who help with the shrub and tree planting events each spring.  Special thanks go to our agency partners (Colorado State Forest Service, Natural Resources Conservation Service, CSU Cooperative Extension, US Forest Service) for their donations of time, shrubs, and equipment.  Rocky Mountain Soil, Dave West, and Twin Mountain Ranch also donated compost for evaluation in our grass planting trials.  Thank you also to Paul Whitmore's 6th grade class for their hard work and the Creede School District for allowing the students to participate in our efforts in 2004 and 2005.  We have been pleased to see our hard-working local volunteers and several new faces from the Creede community in attendance.  Click to view some pictures from 2004 and 2005.
