Introductions of members and
misc. business: Jack
Morris (new owner of Last
Chance Mine). Mr. Morris
is restoring the buildings and doing an internal exploration of mine
next week.
Approval of minutes: Minutes
were read and approved.
Airport Corner:
Glen Miller has a map of XRF testing results.
Investigation into possible clean up remedies and procedures
are under way. Mark
Walker will have final say over any proposed plan.
Chuck Barnes expressed an appreciation for the
work that Glen Miller had done on the map and for the effectiveness of
the Willow Creek Reclamation Committee.
Budget Report:
Glen Miller has prepared a report of our
current budget. After
reviewing the report, Glen asked the committee to authorize spending
$3,000 on equipment to be used in exploring mine shafts.
JB Alexander motioned to approve this expenditure, Rex Sheppard
seconded. Kathleen Reilly
abstained due to a conflict of interest..
Motioned carried.
